Question 1

What areas does Treasure Valley Bath serve?

Accepted Answer

We are based in Star, Idaho and work across the Treasure Valley. Boise, Star, Meridian and Eagle are our primary markets, and we also work in Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Garden City, Middleton and nearby unincorporated Ada and Canyon County addresses.

Question 2

How do I get an estimate or consultation?

Accepted Answer

Send an estimate request describing the bathroom and what is not working, or call (208) 891-1890. We follow up with questions, arrange a visit to measure and assess the room, and only then put figures in writing.

Question 3

What bathroom services do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Bathrooms only: full bathroom remodels, primary and master bathrooms, custom walk-in showers and wet rooms, tub-to-shower conversions, accessible and curbless bathrooms, and custom tile and stone work.

Question 4

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

Accepted Answer

It depends on scope, inspection scheduling and material lead times, so we build a schedule for your specific room rather than quoting a generic number. At the consultation we identify which selections have the longest lead times, because those usually set the start date.

Question 5

Do bathroom remodels need a permit?

Accepted Answer

Plumbing, electrical and structural changes commonly require permits and inspections, while a like-for-like finish replacement often does not. Requirements are set by your city or county building department and change over time, so we confirm them for your address before work starts.

Question 6

Can I see examples of your bathroom work?

Accepted Answer

Yes — ask during the consultation and we will walk you through relevant recent bathrooms in person or by photo. Images used across this site illustrate the finishes and details we discuss; they are not presented as a gallery of your neighbours' completed projects.

Question 7

Do you work on residential or commercial bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

Residential bathrooms in owner-occupied homes are our focus, including single-family homes, townhomes and condominiums. We are not a commercial tenant-improvement contractor.

Question 8

Is your work warrantied, and are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

We hold Idaho contractor registration RCE-57919 and are registered, bonded and insured. Our craftsmanship is covered by a 1-year warranty; fixtures, tile and other products carry their own manufacturer warranties, which we hand over at completion.

Question 9

Do you provide a written estimate, and what does it exclude?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The written scope states what is included and, just as importantly, what is not — typically unknown conditions behind finishes, structural or code corrections found during demolition, and owner-supplied items. Anything discovered later is priced before it is built.

Question 10

Who chooses the tile, fixtures and finishes?

Accepted Answer

You do, with guidance. We give you a selections list with allowances and deadlines, point you to suppliers, and flag where a choice affects waterproofing, maintenance or lead time. Selections are locked before demolition because late changes are what stretch schedules.

Question 11

How are change orders handled?

Accepted Answer

In writing, before the work happens. A change order states the change, the cost and the schedule impact, and it needs your approval. We do not add unapproved charges to a final invoice.

Question 12

Who actually does the work — your crew or subcontractors?

Accepted Answer

Carpentry, waterproofing and tile are handled by our own hands. Licensed plumbers and electricians handle their trades, as Idaho requires. You get one point of contact and one schedule regardless of who is in the house that day.

Question 13

How should I prepare my home before the project starts?

Accepted Answer

Clear the bathroom and the adjoining closet completely, plan where the household will shower, and arrange parking and a dumpster location. We protect floors along the work path, isolate the room for dust, and confirm daily start and finish times before the first day.
